Sara Hooper
Owner
Sara, a mother and licensed teacher, founded this daycare to address the need for quality childcare. Driven by her passion, she ensures the highest standards of care, supports caregivers, and treasures time spent with the children.
Inspired by her own experiences struggling to find quality care for her son, she established this daycare with the aim of addressing the industry's needs and providing superior care for children.
​Sara empowers and supports her staff, recognizing their vital role in shaping young minds. She believes educators deserve the same care, encouragement, and investment that we give to the children they serve.
Stella Smythe
Provider - Blue Sky Beginnings
Stella is the program's DELC licensed Provider. With the extent of her career focused in child care, Stella is one of the best around. She has worked at larger centers and at multiple in-home family facilities. She has run a nanny share business of her own and now lives on-site as Blue Sky Beginnings leading woman. Stella brings her experience and mixes it with immeasurable amount of love for all of our kiddos at Blue Sky.
Lucy Prince
Lead Teacher
Lucy is our Lead Teacher at Blue Sky Beginnings. With a degree in education and multiple years of experience teaching Kindergarten, Lucy is beyond qualified. Lucy has a passion for working with children and is excited to work in the child care industry. Her knowledge and experience levels up our facility to ensure the best programs and curriculum for our children. Lucy's kind soul and dedication helps us create a unique atmosphere of love and learning at Blue Sky.
Dea Rivera
Teacher
Dea joined us with her son, JJ, in 2025. She brings a calm, cool, collected vibe to our facility. Dea's experience in child care and being a mother herself, has been invaluable to our team. The kiddos have welcomed her with open arms. Dea joins in on our mission to create long lasting relationships with kiddos and their families while provide exceptional care that blends learning, play, and love.
Courtney Pierce
Provider - Blue Sky Pathways
Courtney is the Pathways program's DELC licensed Provider.
Courtney attended the University of North Texas in 2008 where she studied Choral Music Education. Courtney has a specific passion for Early Childhood Education, and has worked several years as a Preschool Teacher. Courtney has a passion for Choral singing and performance, and appreciates the soul and emotion music brings out in both herself as well as her students. She has training in “Music Together”, loves learning how to sing in different languages, is actively learning Spanish and is also an avid animal lover who enjoys nature and mindfulness. Courtney adds a vast amount of creativity and passion to Blue Sky.
